HP TET Qualification – Nationality
The applicants should necessarily be Indian citizens, according to the notice. Himachal Pradesh candidates are required show their residential certificates.
HP TET Qualification- Educational Qualification
Candidates should have the qualifications prescribed by the examination officer by the HP TET eligibility process. Student qualifications vary according to the appropriate subject. See a detailed HP TET education qualification below:
TGT (Medical)- The aspirants should have cleared the 12th examination with 50% (minimum and a B.Sc.in Medical Science or Bachelors of Education or Bachelor degree (50%) also.
Language Teacher- The aspirants should either have a Hindi degree or currently pursuing the selected Diploma course’s (2 years) final year.
TGT (Arts) – Passed class 12th examination with a minimum of 45% and a bachelor’s degree with (50%) in elementary education.

Criteria for Qualifications of HP TET exam – Qualified Teachers (Arts)
- The aspirants should have B.A./B.Com. scoring a minimum of 50% marks and a one-year B.Ed. as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations issued periodically in this regard.
- The aspirants should hold a B.A. /B.Com. with a minimum score of 45% marks and a one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) following NCTE regulations that are issued periodically.
- The aspirants should have A./B.Com., scoring a minimum of 50% marks & an one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Special Education
- The aspirants should have Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% and four years of B.A.Ed.
Criteria for Qualifications of HP TET exam – TGT in (Non-Medical): The aspirants should be High School graduates scoring a minimum of 50% marks & 4-years of B.Sc. (NM).

- The aspirants should have B.Sc. in (Non-Medical) with a 50% marks and one-year Bachelor in Education, or High School with a minimum of 50% marks & four years El.Ed. degree.
- The aspirants should have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from H.P University. Government TET Eligibility Criteria 2021 – TGT Medical
- The aspirants should have B.Sc (Non-Medical) with a mark of at least 45% or more of Secondary School graduates with at least 50% marks and four years Bachelor in Non-Medic (Special Education)

- The aspirants should have completed a B.S. (Medical) degree with a minimum of 45% of those who passed before August 30 2010, and 50% of those who graduated by 30 August 2010.
- The aspirants should have Sc. (Medical) at least 50% and a one-year B.Ed.
- The aspirants should have completed one year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or Special Education according to NCTE B.Sc (Medical) with a mark of at least 50% and one year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or Special Education as NCTE B.Sc (Medical) with a mark of at least 50%.
- The aspirants should have Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a 50% mark and four years of B.Sc. (Medical) Ed (B.El.Ed.).
Criteria for Qualifications of HP TET exam – Language Teacher: The aspirants should have an M.A. in Hindi from a well-known UGC approved university with at least 50% marks and one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
- The aspirants should have completed one year of NCTE accredited Bachelor of Education University and a Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% in Hindi as an optional subject.
- The aspirants should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and Hindi as their chosen subject, and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) one year of Special Education.
- The aspirants should have a Bachelor’s and Hindi degree as a chosen subject and a two-year Diploma in Basic Education.
- The aspirants should have completed a Bachelor’s in Arts (English and another subject) with 50% marks from a recognised university.
